Preparatory Guide for
SOF NSO
1.It is exam which requires
combination of speed and conceptual knowledge
First of all you have to build good concepts and focus on each and every topic very carefully. The key point is you have not to attempt all the questions in Science section. You have to quickly leave a question if you stuck it even once.Your target should be to do maximum questions correct.Sometimes purposefully one or two lengthy questions are added to kill time But achiever section question should be given ample time as they contain 3 marks each while others contain one mark.
2.Focus on Logical Reasoning
Most of the students leave the logical reasoning part for the exam day qhich causes them trouble.Proper attention is required to logical reasoning during preparation as there are a lot of tricks for logical reasoning question and strategies for reducing time which should be learnt before hand.
3.Solving workbook by MTG
NSO workbook which is often bought along with registration or available online should be bought. It should solved regularly along with completion of each chapter and every question must be cleared. You should solve these chapterwise questions within time limit so to increase your speed.By solving the book you will get an Idea of type of questions that come in exam and how to quickly solve them.
4.Completion of Syllabus
The exam is usually conducted in december by the time syllabus of current class has not been completed in most of schools but you must complete the whole syllabus of your class before exam and should practice the questions from MTG workbook of all chapters.
5. Previous year question paper
A previous year question paper is provided at the end of MTG workbook which is sufficient. It should be solved within a time limit of 1 hour and marks should be analysed. It will give you a idea of how to score more.Remember you have to leave lengthy questions on trying at once that is key to success.
This is an incongruous article I read really and I was questing for the same..but i want to ask that do u believe in 'practice before preach' as u are suggesting the world to get intermingled in it.. Definitely this is an emphatic article I should say for the people who are too much book worm or kitabi kida. .thankuu for helping me..anyways.. .A sinsterly thank uu
ReplyDeleteyes I believe in Practice Before Preach as this is the key to success and actually you know if someone actually want to score good or is dedicated for an exam he will definitely work hard for it that is necessary too.Success really requires hardwork and there is no shortcut to it.Everyone can study a lot if he has the dedication to crack the exam.
DeleteI am asking u do u implement on it. Why are u taking it in a sarcastic manner...
DeleteIts always important to explain about the right part and main aim is to score good in all exams .We should not forget that no feeling can replace it with feeling of being successful after a long run of hardwork. At last hardwork and learning matters not performance
